Every night we fight

About the same thing we have before

You want me there every second, every day

To be there to talk and play

I’m not afraid to be with you

every second of the day

If there was no distance between us

then it could be that way

Life does get in the way

and makes each day full of darkness and fear

But if you give me a chance

I’ll prove that when I can, Ill be by your side

Its all just fun and games

until someone gets hurt

when the pieces are the same

the jigsaw never works

Solar power may give you energy

but what about those not touched by the sun

hidden in the darkened corners

A normal man

a less than extraordinary man

who doesn’t fear fate

and can’t contemplate the concept of a pearly gate

A beautiful girl

who’s been hardened by the world
